Overview

The IYK API contains useful primitives and apps for building digi-physical experiences.

At the foundation, all of IYK's supported chips generate a dynamic payload on-tap, which can be validated by the API. This prevents scans from being shared, and also generates permissions to mint/transfer NFTs as well as access modules (such as POAP). This is the security that differentiates the chip from a simple QR code or visual mark.

There are three categories of endpoints:

• Core contains the basic building blocks needed to create secure phygital apps. Functionality includes single-use link validation as well as the ability to mint, link, and claim NFTs.
• Modules contain resources you may want to use when building your own experience. For example, you might want to issue custom POAPs or schedule video content.
• Self-service POAP Devices can be managed by the API endpoints as well as end users directly via iyk.app/admin to distribute POAPs.
